Key Person Approach

Relationships are an extremely important part of supporting children to develop a strong sense of their identity. Non-verbal and extremely young children require the support of an adult who they trust, and who knows and understands them well to interpret behaviour. Our focus on strong Key person relationships, enables practitioners at our setting to understand each child’s behaviour and emotional needs in a much deeper way.We believe in equality. Our differentiated response to developing relationships recognises that our children are unique and individual and that some will require additional support to achieve the high expectation we have for all children. We aim to actively promote high self-esteem, and high aspirations for all children, through a culture and ethos that values every child

Communication with our parents and carers is key, at New Beginnings we have a variety of ways in which we like to communicate please see below.
Parentmail

Connects our parents/carers efficiently and reliably using modern technology making essential communication much easier. When parents/carers enrol at New Beginnings you will be signed up onto our Parentmail account.

X (formally twitter)

New Beginnings have their own locked X page which only parents/carers who are registered at the setting have access to. We use our twitter page to share with our families all the exciting teaching and learning experiences their children are having everyday.

Pinterest

New Beginnings has their own Pinterest page in where we are able to share with staff, parents and carers ideas on lots of fun activities we can carry out with the children this requires parents/carers to register in order to use this facility and access our Pinterest page.

Instagram
